Hotel Healdsburg

This past weekend, I was a guest at Hotel Healdsburg, located an hour north of San Francisco in the heart of sunny, rustic Wine Country. Recently renovated by Myra Hoefer Design in collaboration with David Baker Architects, the decor of this hotel is what I would describe as 'California Chic' - chill, comfortable, and with great landscaping. The kind of weekend vibes that I believe only places that produce wine can truly master. As a huge plus for us dog owners, Hotel Healdsburg is incredibly dog friendly. (No dog sitters!) We loved being able to bring George with us on this trip. And yes (!) there is a pool, spa, gym, and two great restaurants associated with the hotel, one of which is Dry Creek Kitchen. Do not miss it if you are looking for a romantic night out in Wine Country. (I'm still thinking about the warm focaccia bread that greeted us and the dark chocolate cake that sent us away happy : )
